Sevaali, I wouldn't agree with you, because web cam sites popularization stimulates the development of Internet technologies, especially in the Eastern Europe and Africa where Internet connection leaves much to be desired. We should face the truth and admit that there is no way people with low speed Internet like dial-up would ever be able to use the web cam applications unless the "big minds" will come up with a solution for this problem. I've got a high speed Internet and when it allows me to chat and actually see my friends across the ocean, I understand that it is worth all that money I pay for it every month.

I agree with you guys, and I can't argue that with low speed Internet you can never get the highest quality of picture. But I still think that for those people who have dial up connections software developers should create special programs which will allow them to use web cameras and talk to their friends. May be the video quality won't be as good but at least they will have "something".

Good evening, Im doing some research for a customer who is thinking in starting his own Live web cam sites. Models will be working from home. ADSL 2mb. App will be run in a hosting provider. OHO My sql Linux box. Red5 server. 16:9 HD Video. Billing by an already known provider. Server should be able to support about 20 chat girls.
